EMEA Strategic Partnership Operations
I am part of the EMEA Strategic Partnerships Ops team (consulting). EMEA SP drove 65% of EMEA IBM-C 1H2022 revenue ($2.9B) and we are on our way to driving 75% in 1H2023. I work at the geography (geo) level, which
covers 6 markets, 40+ countries. In this role, I interface with EMEA Practice
Leaders, EMEA Strategic Partnership Leaders (ie. those who lead IBM’s
partnership with external corporations such as SAP), and Market Strategic
Partnership Leaders who are executive-banded leaders.
Working in this environment takes professionalism,
diplomacy, confidence, and skill. As part of EMEA SP Ops, my primary
responsibility is supporting the EMEA SP Business Unit's day-to-day operations by providing financial visibility and credible data analysis to help SPLs drive the business. This reporting is used by individual SPLs and is also used to convey our message via presentations in various meetings. This allows me to contribute to the progression of the EMEA SP Pipeline (signings and revenue) and track EMEA SP KPIs (funding, certifications, etc.).
My work provides visibility for the business unit and engages stakeholders outside our immediate team, leading to increased interest in SPs and, ultimately, greater signings and revenue for the unit.
